Dynamic US Law Firm in London is looking to recruit a new Legal Talent & Professional Development Coordinator.  Legal Talent duties will include responding to recruitment queries (from individuals and agencies) for trainee, paralegal, associate and special counsel positions and maintain records of these, updating university career services websites with company information and position postings. Send out hard copy information when required, updating other recruitment copy in marketing and advertising sources, booking law fairs and other recruitment events to include submitting company information, assisting in organisation of recruitment events and represent the firm from time to time, assisting in the administration of the online application system, to include keeping candidates up to date with progress, preparing induction programmes for all new joiners, collate packs and set up meetings, arranging travel for recruitment and other events, creating interview and induction packs and arranging payments of law school fees and maintenance and manage law school correspondence and student updates. Professional Development duties will include processing requests for professional memberships, updating the LMS with details of training events attended and produce reports, producing attendance lists for learning and development events, assisting in the planning and coordination of professional development programs and initiatives, creating communications, including invitations, reminders, program materials, agendas, calendar updates, branding and online surveys (internal & external), coordinating event and meeting logistics for various programs, including securing meeting rooms, coordinating meeting room set-up, arranging food/beverage services, and coordinating IT/AV requirements across offices; troubleshooting as necessary and providing on-site support during PD events, conferences, and other training programs (room setup, handouts, preparing materials, etc.).  Applicants require applicants with HR/L&D information systems experience and reporting experience and have previous experience working within Legal Talent/ HR/ L&D within law firms or professional services organisations.   The firm would prefer, but not essential applicants to be degree educated and CIPD qualified, on their way to being qualified or wanting to undertake the qualification.  Success factors for the role will be having the ability to work independently without supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and be proactive, reliable, committed and punctual. Highly motivated and enthusiastic for team and self-development who can drive ideas forward and be innovative.  Offices are based near Liverpool Street with standard hours being 9:30am to 5:30pm.
