Group Financial Controller

A new opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Controller within an international commercial law firm in the City.

The role will involve working closely with and reporting to the Head of Finance and Director of Finance, whilst also acting as a key point of contact with the firm’s external auditors and tax advisers. Key responsibilities will include managing the Global consolidation and year-end process, managing the Group Accounting team, year-end and Financial Accounting, overseeing Local External Accounts and maintaining and updating the Group Policies.

The successful candidate will have obtained the ACA/ACCA qualification with at least five years’ post-qualification experience in tax and have previous experience in team management, dealing and advising on tax issues and working in a professional services environment. Strong communication, relationship-building and presentation skills are required, as well as in-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and Microsoft Excel.
