This Sports Desk Assistant is a gem of an opportunity for a proactive team player with an interest in sport and media to join the Sports Desk of this highly popular national publication. The main focus of this varied career role will be to support the Online Sports team and provide cover for the PA in times of absence.

This Sports Desk Assistant position is available immediately and requires a good communicator with a helpful attitude and strong organisational talents, MS Office skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Hours: 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, although flexibility is required.

To be successful in this Sports Desk Assistant role, you will have:

*Good standard of education
*An interest in sport and media

*Discretion, tact, confidentiality and diplomacy
*Willingness to start by the end of June
