Wild Berry Associates are working closely with a risk consultancy who are looking for an experienced Business Team Manager to manage a team of 3 project coordinators. This is a maternity cover of 6 months.
Purpose of team is to:
- Place the client at the centre of what we do making it easy and desirable to do business with us and ensure we turn revenue into cash as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Reduce the administrative burden to consultants so they can spend more time with our clients.
- Build a system of governance to ensure the accurate and appropriate use of systems and process in line with regional and global standards and policies
Line management:
- Lead the day-today management of the business administration team
-Coordinate team meetings, activities, resources and information
-Cascade relevant info & seek input from team and stakeholders
-Provide guidance, support and training, identifying development needs within the team
-Ensure accurate & efficient team outputs
-Act as point of contact & escalation for the team
Strategy:
- Work with regional manager to implement structures & strategies that ensure the continuous improvement of system usage, performance and reporting
- Lead ad-hoc initiatives to drive continuous improvement
- Drive the business administration team to understand, focus on & achieve objectives
- Identify & anticipate work that interrupts standard process and act to resolve
- Monitor & track issues & successes
- Manage & coordinate strategy reporting schedule
- Provide Ad-Hoc assistance to regional manager
- Develop high performing team
Essential
- Prior administrative experience, ideally in related field.
- Ability to recognise issues and understand what action is required
- Prior experience of working in a commercial organisation, a global organisation is desirable
- Prior experience of managing a team and implementing a strategy
Qualifications:
- Educated to A Level standard
- Educated to degree level is desirable
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel; Viso & Sharepoint would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to establish effective communication and strong working relationships with internal and external contacts
-Good organisational and prioritising skills
- An ability to identify problems, understand the complete impact of them and see challenges through to a conclusion
- Accurate with eye for detail
