Event Marketing Executive

A leading professional association are looking for an Event Marketing Executive on a six month fixed term contract. Based in the City, this unique and exciting opportunity will allow you to utilise and showcase your skills in an environment that also allows you to get creative.

You will be supporting the courses and conferences team. The duties can include:

• Researching, developing and identifying new leads to increase attendance at events.
• Creating your own content and targeted messages for the company's website and to improve social media promotion. Also, maintain the event website pages.
• Promoting the business and events. Creating flyers, brochures and other marketing collateral material. Including copywriting and proof reading.
• Maintaining communication plans and managing HTML emails, mailings and social media.
• Other ad-hoc duties.

Skills and Experience Desired

• Previous experience working on campaigns and the ability to clearly outline and talk about these campaigns.
• Previous marketing experience; in a conference or events marketing role is an advantage.
• Confidence to communicate effectively at a senior level.
• The ability to multi task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of email campaigns and updating websites.
• A creative mind-set, able to problem solve.
• Copy writing and proof reading skills.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, quark, Indesign are an advantage.
