This Facilities / Post Room Co-ordinator opportunity is a really hands-on position for a proactive and practical person. You will have lots of initiative and will enjoy a busy facilities role involving daily distribution of post to 300 staff members; moving equipment and furniture; setting up meeting rooms and managing the offsite archiving contract of 25,000 + boxes.
Supporting the Facilities Manager and working within a friendly team of six (including 2 Receptionists), you will assist in the day-to-day running of the busy West End office of this popular Chartered Surveyors.
As well as having lots of common sense, you will be able to confidently and professionally liaise at all levels and will possess a naturally willing and helpful attitude. Previous archiving experience and a background in a service environment, preferably professional services, would be an advantage.
Basic IT literacy is required as this position involves daily use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Hours based on rotating weekly shifts: 8am - 4.30pm / 10am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
There will be occasional weekend and out-of-hours working for which overtime will be paid.

To be successful in this Facilities / Post Room Co-ordinator role, you will have:
*1 + year's experience within a service environment
*Hands-on and practical approach
*Ability to prioritise and handle conflicting deadlines
*Willingness and ability to lift heavy boxes and move furniture and equipment
*Ideally experience within an archiving environment
*Basic MS Office skills
*Proactive, confident, efficient and friendly nature
*Good communication, both spoken and written
*High attention to detail and process-driven approach
Areas of accountability within this Facilities / Post Room Co-ordinator role include:
*Maintaining post room service involving distributing daily post to 300 staff members
*Setting up meeting rooms with furniture, audio visual equipment etc
*Assisting with office maintenance and upkeep
*Distributing stationery on a daily basis and managing stock control
*Assisting with weekend office moves as required
*Receiving and logging facilities related helpdesk enquiries
*Allocating helpdesk tasks as appropriate
*Office housekeeping including fire and maintenance checks of two floor areas
*Managing the offsite archiving contract of 25,000 + boxes
*Assisting with the procurement and allocation of surveying and personal protective equipment
*Logging and submitting invoices
*Dealing with deliveries and collections
