I am looking for an exceptional, experienced Housekeeper/Maintenance couple for a fantastic new live in role for a private residence in Hampshire.

Applicants must have proven private household experience working together as a couple, be fluent in English, have an enthusiastic and proactive approach and the wherewithal to hit the ground running.

You will be joining a professional, friendly team who all work cohesively to serve the principals seamlessly. The house will mainly be the weekend residence and there will be some assistance in other properties on occasion, therefore flexibility is key. Duties include, but are not limited to:

MAINTENANCE:
- Ensure security of residence at all times  
- Looking after the dogs
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting and mopping
- General minor maintenance where required (there is a wider maintenance team)
- Collaborating with contractors for special projects
- Manage the fleet of cars (MOT, valet of cars, general up keeping)
- Driving for Principals (there are full time drivers based elsewhere)
- Maintenance of pool
- Assisting the Estate Manager with infrastructure services
- Inventories of all cleaning material, maintenance tools etc
- Assist Head Gardener where needed
- Assist Housekeepers where needed

HOUSEKEEPING:
- Ensure the highest level of cleanliness and organization of all interior areas
- Turn down/ turn up service
- Cleaning and regular service of guest staterooms and guest areas ensuring the highest standards
- Responsible for the maintenance of all artwork, surfaces, amenities, fixtures, furnishings, fabrics,
- Assisting the House Manager as required and directed
- Daily cleaning duties in staff areas, monitoring and restock of staff supplies, maintaining general cleanliness in all staff areas
- Ensure that all resident personal clothing is ironed and pressed as requested to maintain high standard of finished articles
- Ensure prompt, efficient and error free; sorting, cleaning, stain removal, and pressing of all laundry items including: Staff linens, towels, personal clothing, kitchen towels and service laundry etc
- Monitoring of any work or maintenance performed in the laundry
- Detailed cleaning of laundry, laundry machinery and storage areas, and other interior areas
- Assist with unpacking of all provisioning
- Assist with interior inventory and stock take when required
- Monitor laundry supplies and provide Estate Manager with low stock inventory report
- Light cooking (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) for the Principals.  A Chef will be brought in when there are guests

You will be working  5 days a week, including weekends, with some flexibility. Accommodation is a beautifully presented 2 bedroom cottage. Due the rural location and light driving requirements, applicants must have full clean driving licences.
