A leading fashion retailer requires a bright, creative and capable Team Assistant to support their Purchasing Director and provide administrative support to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diary management for Purchasing Director.
  • Arranging travel for team.
  • Day to day support on numerous contracts across multiple business areas.
  • Collating of a number of regular internal and external reports.
  • Raising & receipting of orders within the company accounting system.
  • Monthly checking of invoices against schedules.
  • Managing invoice & store queries.
  • Centrally filing both electronic & hard copy signed contracts.
  • Managing credit check process on potential suppliers.
  • Arranging supplier review meetings for the Purchasing Department.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a large / medium size company.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data.
  • Excellent communication skills; capable of networking with colleagues across the company in order to participate successfully in cross functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Totally trustworthy with high ethical standards.
  • Able to self manage both time and priorities.
