Our client, a leading Engineering Consultancy, has an opportunity for an outstanding Team Administrator to join their team on permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to further their career and work in a dynamic project team. You would be responsible for the smooth, efficient and successful operation of all the non-technical administration of the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the group coordinators and being an all-round administration linchpin for the team and the main point of contact for all their admin queries
  • Providing general administration support from photocopying and scanning papers to typing, formatting and modifying documents, reports, correspondence and spreadsheets
  • Supporting business development with bid preparation, including assisting with the update of team CVs
  • Maintaining departmental listings, networking in the London office and beyond and signposting for helpful contacts
  • Using customer relationship management systems to maintain internal databases
  • Distributing all documents and correspondence within the group collation, sorting and distribution of departmental post
  • Supporting the timely project management and resource planning by ensuring that staff time sheets and expenses are submitted promptly and appropriate staff absences and training are recorded
  • Supporting and inducting new team members, welcoming them and helping them to integrate into the team
  • Coordinating learning and development activities within the group
  • Coordinating, attending and taking minutes in group meetings and organising meetings both internal and external

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent computer and IT skills including; Word, Excel and experience of using spreadsheets and databases
  • Great communication skills whether written in emails or documents, face to face or via phone
  • A solid foundation of office experience and a proactive approach to your work
  • Knowledge of InDesign or similar desk top publishing package would be an advantage but enthusiasm to learn will stand you in good stead as we train you in this and another specialist software
