Having recently received the title of International Collaboration of the Year for its LabSkills Africa initiative at the Times Higher Education Awards in 2016, this is an opportunity to join an award-winning team as our International Administrator, supporting the College's international governance structures, delivering our Global Health Challenges fundraising scheme, co-ordinating our social media activities and liaising with College fellows, members and trainees around the world.
In this busy and dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing essential day-to-day administrative support, ensuring the efficient running of the College's International Department. The role will include acting as secretary to the College's International Committee and working with the International Manager and Director of International Affairs to support the activities of the College's International Regional Advisors, institutional partners and Country Advisors.
Previous experience of working with committee structures, as well as experience of organising regional, national, international or fundraising events will be essential. The ability to prioritise and organise a complex workload, communicate information confidently and concisely to a diverse range of people and excellent IT skills are also essential requirements for this role.
The Royal College is a professional membership organisation working to advance the science and practice of pathology. Members are doctors and scientists working in hospitals and laboratories, and 20% of members are based overseas.
Our client offers attractive staff benefits, including a defined benefit company pension scheme, 25 days annual leave rising with length of service, an employee discount scheme, season-ticket and gym membership loans, a subsidised restaurant, as well as learning and development opportunities.
The closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 12 June and interviews are scheduled for Friday 23 June 2017.
