We are looking for an ad-hoc facilities assistant to cover holiday and sickness when required. This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a really interesting and varied role and develop your skillset. You’ll be a keen administrator who is looking for a hands on role. You will need that “can-do” attitude, you’ll be the first point of contact within a company so will need to be always on form and be extremely professional.
Responsibilities
- Collecting, delivering and franking internal and external mail
- Ordering and checking international and local couriers
- Maintaining and checking office stationery supplies and machines
- Supplier relations, checking delivery notes/invoices against orders
- Ensuring a log of archiving is kept and updated when required
- Collecting confidential shredding and checking destruction
- Liaising with staff and management regarding any queries
- Assisting the facilities manager in ad hoc duties
- Any other required ad hoc duties
Requirements
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Previous archiving experience and ability to use franking machine
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organised with fantastic time management skills
- Developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with all levels
- Ability to manage a heavy and varied workload
