Our client a prestigious independent government body is looking to recruit an experienced administrator to work on a Part-Time basis (4 /5days - 28 hours per week), as a Business Support Assistant, supporting the Investigation Team
About the role
To provide routine administrative support, in conjunction with other Business Support Officers/Assistants
Key Accountabilities
- Provides timely and accurate photocopying/scanning service for investigation teams
- Maintains accurate record of own actions in casework management system and enters data for other as required
- Undertakes routine administrative tasks to support investigators as directed, for example, organising and tabbing evidence folders for investigators, making routine calls to chase responses, taking telephone calls and keeping accurate records/messages for colleagues
- Takes minutes for straightforward internal meetings, e.g. team meetings
- Makes timely and accurate bookings of hotels, train tickets, meeting rooms, etc. as required
- Any other ad hoc tasks as required
Skills
- IT literate, familiar with Word/Excel or similar office software packages
- Good standard of written and oral English
- Good attention to detail
- Good team-working/interpersonal skills
- Flexibility,
- Self-motivated and well-organised: able to work with little day-to-day supervision from line manager, organising own work to manage competing priorities
- Good administrative practice
Experience
- Proven experience of providing excellent customer service especially in regards to admin support;
- Preferably have worked within the public sector / provided team admin support
- Proven experience of working effectively under pressure and with an eye for detail
- Preferably have a minimum of 1 year's experience
CV to the client by Wednesday 24th May/Interviews with the client 2nd June/Availability to commence 5th June.
Duration: 6 months FTC / Salary: £18,413- £24,912 (dependant on experience)
Part-Time: 4 days per week = 9am - 5pm / 5 days = 28 hours per week
