A global creative, not for profit organisation based in funky new offices in central London is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to join their growing team at an exciting time for the company.

As Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the two-floor London-office runs smooth on a day-to-day basis.

  • Pro-actively manage any potential issue or bottlenecks that may disrupt the working environment
  • Health and Safety management
  • Facilities management to include supplier management, visitor coordination, and IT troubleshooting (with support from the IT team)
  • Responsible for managing a team of two – an Office Assistant and Operations Assistant – who are expected to perform the day-to-day tasks associated with Office and Facilities Management; you’ll help to build their capacity and ensure they are functioning as an effective unit
  • Provide administrative and planning support to the Country Programmes Operations Manager to include logistics planning (travel coordination), security assistance (briefings), project planning, due diligence, research, and training.
  • Responsible for monitoring of and reporting on operational spend and performance for the London office with a view to implementing changes, if necessary.
  • Run special one-off projects such as internal events, off-sites, and policy review

As Assistant Operations Manager, you don’t necessarily have to have bundles of experience in the above, but an interest in, and aptitude for all things operational with some transferrable skills and experience.
