My client, a leading U.S law practice with offices across the globe, are currently looking for an accomplished Float Secretary to join their ever expanding secretarial team. This particular firm are renowned for their excellent salaries and unparalleled benefits package as well as their superb reputation for the treatment, and in turn retention, of their employees at all levels. This firm are looking for an individual with previous experience as a Float Secretary, excellent technical skills and a real desire to float in their next role!

The successful Float Legal Secretary / Legal PA will be providing secretarial/PA support to numerous Partners & Fee Earners across all areas throughout the firm. It is essential that the successful candidate is highly flexible in nature, enjoys working in a Float capacity and has a real can-do attitude with an endearing personality & demeanour that allows them to build relationships with individuals at all levels.

My client has also stressed that it is imperative that the successful candidate MUST have floated in a previous secretarial capacity and covered Corporate, Litigation and ideally had some exposure to Real Estate. Contrary to popular opinion, US Law Firm experience is NOT Essential.

The successful Legal Secretary / Legal PA (Float) will possess the following attributes/skills:

*Typing speed of at least 65wpm
*Extensive experience of all Microsoft Packages, with a heavy emphasis on MOS Word (MOS accreditation advantageous)
*ILEX Legal Secretarial or equivalent
*Experience of Billing
*At least 3 years secretarial experience (1 of which spent in a Float capacity) within a private practice law firm preferably within the City of London

The successful Float Legal Secretary / Legal PA will be able to expect a salary of between £38,000 and £42,000 dependant on experience which will also be accompanied by a superb benefits and bonus scheme.
