My client, an innovative Design start-up are looking for a proactive Studio Manager to join their sleek offices in Shoreditch. As a start-up company with plans for growth, they are looking for somebody who can use their previous experience in a larger organisation to implement systems and procedures. They are a cool and sociable team, who are all really passionate about the company, so work hard as a result.
Your typical duties as Studio Manager will include receptionist duties, such as meeting and greeting guests, setting up meeting rooms, organising all incoming and outgoing mail, and responding to email enquiries. You will manage all studio supplies (stationery, kitchen supplies etc.) as well as organising photoshoots, planning social events and liaising with contractors. You will assist with HR duties (drafting job ads and contracts, managing holidays), and press responsibilities (distributing press releases, scheduling interviews, managing social media). You will also support the Founder with PA duties such as travel coordination, diary management and processing expenses.
As the role is so varied and fast-paced, you must have AT LEAST 2 years’ experience in a Studio Manager role within a CREATIVE environment (design or architecture would be particularly advantageous). You must be confident using your knowledge to implement systems and procedures in this role. You must be personable and meticulously organised, with impeccable communication skills both written and verbal.
If this sounds like the perfect role for you, apply now for immediate interview!
