A global telecommunications company requires an experienced Team Assistant to provide administrative support to a busy and growing Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grasping the priorities and activities of each team member and providing appropriate administrative support
  • Supporting contact tracking and reporting (using CRM-type tools)
  • Supporting Marketing Communication with event planning and execution
  • Coordination and distribution of promotional materials
  • Managing diaries and schedules for team members (MS Outlook)
  • Managing international travel
  • Financial administration - including processing expenses and tracking payments
  • Preparation of written materials, PowerPoint presentations and drafting correspondence
  • Working closely with team assistants in other areas of the world to ensure seamless support for the team as they move internationally
  • Ad-hoc logistical support - liaising with IT, Telecoms etc. in the event of any issues
  • Handling confidential information with discretion

Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting a team of geographically dispersed individuals within a global company is essential
  • A high degree of organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and an ability to plan and prioritise workload.
  • Tact, ability to develop contact and build relationships, diplomacy and respect for confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good command of the English language
  • A high energy level with a dynamic, positive style. Open, assertive manner and good humour.
  • A highly proactive approach, the perception to instigate improvements and initiative to follow through
  • A high level of commitment, punctuality and a willingness to adapt working hours to the demands of the workload.
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft office packages and procedures.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills.
