Fantastic opportunity for a truly unique individual to become the vital ‘Right Hand’ of an, energetic and entrepreneurial UHNWI with businesses in a number of diverse industries including; shipping, real estate, commodity trading, private equity, venture capital, impact investment as well as the family’s charitable foundation.  This is a new role with no boundaries and the successful applicant will be involved in (and have access to) every area of the Principal’s business and personal affairs – hence applicants need to be self-starters, experienced within roles of this nature and be able to hit the ground running and define the position themselves, while being flexible to adapt as the role evolves.  The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, incredible attention to detail and with limited facetime with the Principal, be self-motivated to work proactively and with autonomy.  A strong understanding, and ideally qualifications in Finance and/or Law would be highly beneficial.  There are no egos in the office and with no ‘glass ceiling’ the Principal is looking for ambitious candidates with aspirations to develop the role over time.

Hours:                  9am – 7pm, Mon to Friday, plus on-call 24/7

Location:              London (Mayfair) or Monaco or Athens office, with some flexibility to work from your own home on occasion

Special notes:      This is an important and challenging role requiring incredibly well-organised and highly experienced candidates.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Managing all elements of the Principal’s Business and Private affairs
  • Gatekeeping – first point of contact for all business partners, stakeholders, family members, office / household staff, lawyers, accountants etc
  • Diary management
  • Co-ordinate complex and ever-changing travel arrangements – commercial and private
  • Managing correspondence
  • Screening calls / emails etc.
  • Helping the general day to day running of the team
  • Assist with organising pitches, meetings and presentations and all associated documentation
  • Maintain accounting spreadsheets; invoices/expenses/budgets and property management
  • Manage Expenses
  • Maintain a highly organised digital filing system for all documentation related to business and private affairs
  • Liaise with bookkeeper and send all receipts, expenses and invoices on a monthly basis
  • Research and collate data to produce reports and general market research
  • Project management
  • Transcription
  • Drafting and editing of complex documents
  • Drafting speeches
  • Ad-hoc duties
  • Assist with all private matters incuding but not lmited to private family matters, event organisation, coordination and management and lifestyle management
  • Liaising with Estate Manager and household staff in properties around the world

 

Candidates must be / have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Senior EA role or similar
  • Familiar working within a Family Office environment
  • Well educated, ideally with degree from Russell Group university
  • Good knowledge of European business cultures
  • A solid understanding of Finance and Business
  • MBA beneficial but not essential
  • A background in Law would be beneficial but not essential
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
  • Touch Typing at 80wpm
  • Excellent communication skills – able to liaise with high profile VIPs and important stakeholders as well as
  • Faultless written and spoken English with an ability to adapt to any style of correspondence and writing as required
  • Confident and polite with excellent business etiquette
  • Fluency in a 2nd language would be beneficial but not essential; French, Greek, German etc
  • Extremely well-organised and efficient with exceptional attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure

  • Bright and ambitious
  • A strong ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload effectively
  • A flexible, can-do attitude
  • A desire and ability to continue be learn and grow professionally
