Reporting Analyst - Transport Industry

As a Psychology Graduate working as a Reporting Analyst, you will receive reports on diverse issues from staff in any part of the transport industry. You extract maximum information from reporters during structured telephone conversations and transfer accordingly to the appropriate forms and database.

Duties will be as per below:

• Engage (and meet if required), to carry out an effective dialogue with representatives of transport companies to obtain useful and valued responses to reports.
• Provide telephone feedback to reporters on the progress of their reports.
• Enter data in the database, coding the data as appropriate.
• Maintain the confidentiality of data at all times paying special attention to ensuring that the reporters' identities are protected.
• Supply material for use in the range of publications produced by the organization.
• Analyse data in the company database as required.
• Help prepare and provide data and participate in industry road shows, briefings, meetings and conferences as required.

Previous Experience and Qualifications

• Experience of collecting and analysing large volumes of data
• Ability to engage with reporters and extract useful data during telephone conversations
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
• Writes clearly, succinctly and correctly
• Structures information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience
• High levels of accuracy and good attention to detail
• Manages time effectively
• Degree in a Psychology or experience of working in the Transport Industry
• A demonstrable interest in safety
• Methodical approach to following processes and maintaining the security of data
