Generalist HR business partner – 12 month contract
C£70,000 + benefits
12 month contract for experienced HR business partner within leading City Underwriter.
Working within high performing team you will support several areas of the business by delivering a high quality, proactive HR service.
You will:
- Work closely with Heads of Function and Line Managers to build organisational capabilities to achieve shared business objectives.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of and work supportively of the business strategy, influencing people plans and outcomes.
- Be a commercial partner whilst advocating HR best practice, considering the needs of key stakeholders and challenging business culture to drive change.
- Lead the HR Business Partner team in working collaboratively with one another, sharing knowledge and best practice from different parts of the business.
- Lead the HR Business Partner team in working collaboratively with the HR Centres of Excellence; support HR innovations in Reward, Resourcing, Talent & Development and HR Administration by providing sound business and HR specialist insights.
- Embed the HR Business Partner role within the allocated client group, influencing people plans in support of department and wider company business strategy.
- Work with Heads of Function to ensure department structure is appropriately designed to deliver department plans in the short and long term.
- Work with Heads of Function and with the support of the HR Centres of Excellence to design interventions to drive appropriate culture, behaviours and performance in individuals and teams.
- Undertake strategic resource and headcount planning with Heads of
Candidates will need to be graduates with significant:
- Experience in a Human Resources Generalist or
- Business Partner role, working with senior stakeholders
- Experience of the Insurance industry, in both the Company and Lloyd’s markets.
- Project and change management experience, leading HR stream on organisation wide cross-functional initiatives. You should be CIPD qualified.
