Graduate Entry role - Client Management Assistant for City Equity Firm (6 mth Fixed Term Contract) £25,000

Our client a high profile City based Equity firm are seeking a graduate with six months office experience with good excel skills. Training provided, but needs a genuine interest in the role.

The team is well respected for their high level of service and accuracy and enjoys a strong rapport with each other. It’s a busy and demanding environment supporting an equity broking; corporate finance; capital markets and fixed income business.

The position holder should have, or wish to develop knowledge of the financial markets and MiFID II guidelines. The position holder should be capable of working closely with the Sales and Management teams as well as the wider Client Management team.

This position is responsible for supporting the European Client Management function by assisting on various projects and understanding the client management database.

The main responsibilities of this position are:

Client Relationship Management Systems:

• Maintain the interaction data in client vote management systems by uploading and verifying client activity data

• Integrate fully with the global client management systems and processes

• Manage the forward looking calendar

• Manage the client requests

• Working closely with the sales team to complete ad-hoc data requests

MiFID II Projects:

• Produce summaries for MiFID II client meetings with a full understanding of the pricing model

• Produce and maintain a standard deck of client account review documents

• Arrange meetings with clients and vendors to discuss MiFID II

• Assist on various MiFID II related projects for our clients

Conference Management:

• Produce meeting packs for sales members attending the Forum

• Produce corporate pitchbooks for the management team to use at the Investors Forum

Competencies / Skills:

• Degree qualified

• Six months experience in an office environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Enthusiastic interpersonal style that promotes effective communication, unity and respect with people across the organisation and externally (essential)

• Cultural awareness; understanding of the need of the organisation to adapt

• High level of computer literacy, including advanced excel skills

• Ability to work with a number of different teams and deliver results on time

• Confidence and maturity in communicating with internal and external clients at all levels

• Flexibility to respond to changing work demands

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritising effectively and working longer than contracted hours when necessary
