Temporary Project Manager £16ph
Who will you be working for?
You will be based in their new office complex in a historically important part of London, where tourists and locals alike fill the immaculately maintained streets. This is an excellent location in order to achieve a great work life balance.
Their focus is on training, research, quality and advice for its vast member base in the health sector. They are an academic institution with a passion for increasing the standards of healthcare provision in the U.K.
Main responsibilities:
- Supporting the business development by effectively project managing all aspects of FMLM Solutions, this would include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring all information/data associated is collected, monitored and used appropriately.
- Working with the internal and external partners to ensure projects are well managed, documented and kept within budget.
- Liaising with and developing relationships with individuals and organisations working with or interested in working with the company
- Liaising with external stakeholders on confidential and commercially sensitive matters.
- Supporting the development of proposals, report, presentations with the Chair/Director, Chief Executive and Medical Director, Chief Operating Officer and others
- Developing and monitoring contracts and variations to contracts
- Monitoring all financial activity and working with the management accountant to ensure budgets are managed effectively, VAT is applied appropriately, invoices are paid and income and expenditure is recorded.
- Anticipation of, and organisation of all necessary information and resources in preparation for meetings including digital and printed resources.
- Ensuring information is collected with regards to performance of projects and developed for use in promotional activities and learning.
Project Support
- Applying project management skills to support other projects and programmes, ranging from smaller projects to those which are more complex and strategic; all of which are integral to meeting the organisation's charitable aims and financial needs.
The ideal candidate
- Experience of working across more than one project simultaneously, managing work within resources and its delivery to the satisfaction of commissioners
- Evidence of working in a demanding project management role
- Understanding and ability to work with a variety of administrative / data management systems (for example MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
- Experience of handling complex and highly confidential information and prioritising under pressure
- Writing and analytical skills of sufficient standard to contribute to activities that support improvements project delivery and service provision
