£27,000.00 + Excellent Benefits

Our world leading diversified operations client with over 150 mining and metallurgical, oil production and agricultural assets are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Secretary to join the Structured Finance Team. This is fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Secretary seeking an interesting role in a professional environment.

Located within the London office is the headquarters of this clients oil business which includes various products including oil and gas.

This organisation believes investing into its employees and making sure they reach their full potential and so consequently you will be working in an exciting and motivating organisation. Duties include -

  • Diary management
  • Booking meetings and confrences (including video conference and conference calls)in London and with international offices
  • Preparation of reports and documents
  • Ad Hoc HR duties
  • General administrative duties
  • Organise overseas travel including: Providing and requesting letters of invitation for visa applications, Creating business introduction letters, Processing and recording visa and passport applications for employees in London and in Glencore’s international office, Liaising with overseas counterparts for travel arrangements
  • Extensive and complex inbox management
  • Make restaurant, hotel and taxi reservations
  • Liaise with Reception to ensure they are informed of all visitors to the office
  • Ensure that the telephone is answered quickly at all times, with clear concise messages being taken and passed onto the relevant staff member

  • Excellent computer and typing skills
  • Pleasant manner in dealing with people both on the telephone and in person

  • Confidence to clarify instructions received to ensure a good understanding
  • Flexible, committed and adaptable approach to work
  • The ability to multitask and use initiative
  • Experienced and confident with Microsoft Office packages

The ideal candidate will need the ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure and have a positive attitude. You must have great communication skills and be professional in your approach and you will need to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
