Temporary Administration Assistant £10-12p.h
Our client is looking for an experienced Administration assistant to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. Working with one of the Royal Colleges in London, this is a chance to get involved in an interesting and complex part of the organisation, providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the future Hospital programme.
Who will you be working for?
Their office location is in the prime sightseeing hub of Regents Park, just a stone's throw away from iconic landmarks including the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. You will be based in their new office complex in a historically important part of London, where tourists and locals alike fill the immaculately maintained streets. This is an excellent location in order to achieve a great work life balance.
As one of the Royal Colleges in London, their focus is on training, research, quality and advice for its vast member base in the health sector. They are an academic institution with a passion for increasing the standards of healthcare provision in the U.K.
What does the role consist of?
You will need to ensure a smooth running of all administrative aspects and duties.This will include the production and use of simple spreadsheets, minute/note taking, record keeping and maintaining important records using SharePoint. You will be the first point of contact for all telephone and email enquiries which will include health care professionals, patients, senior managers and fellow members and staff. Provide general administrative support to the team along with arranging meetings, workshops and other events. Including general hosting duties during face to face events, meeting/greeting delegates and preparing AV/IT equipment at the venue.
What will the successful candidate be like?
The ideal candidate should have excellent secretarial and administrative skills along with good telephone manner, must be IT literate including the Microsoft Office suite and have a good eye for detail alongside prioritising work load. Someone who is organised has strong verbal and clear written communication skills. You will be supporting the future Hospital programmes and need to be highly pro-active and an all round people person. Must have experience in organising and administering meetings/workshops and supporting multiple projects, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
