Ryder Reid are working on an exclusive basis with a premier US law firm to recruit an Office Manager for their expanding London office. In this busy and varied role, the Office Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the London office, including all HR-related issues. Key responsibilities for the Office Manager will include:

  • Managing support staff functions - reception, secretarial staff, accounts and marketing
  • Working with the Partners and Employment lawyers to identify and resolve HR issues
  • Overseeing the recruitment for legal and support staff; managing the induction process
  • Monitoring staffing levels to ensure continuous availability of appropriate resources
  • Liaising with the Law Society regarding SRA renewals
  • Overseeing the billing process and the accounts payable function
  • Managing vendor relationships; dealing with building and space related issues
  • Organising annual office staff events

The ideal candidate for the Office Manager role will have previous HR experience within a busy and fast-paced corporate environment. You must be incredibly organised, and have the flexibility to be both reactive and proactive as required. You will be an effective communicator and able to build strong relationships with people of all levels. A high level of energy and enthusiasm is a must!
