We are seeking an enthusiastic office administration assistant who is eager to learn and develop office management skills, for an exciting opportunity within a prestigious London law firm.

Reporting directly to the Office Manager and liaising with staff across the firm, you'll have day to day operational responsibilities to include reception, facilities, and office administration.

You'll be answering telephone calls, organising couriers and post, managing meeting rooms, arranging catering and events, printing and scanning documents, maintaining electronic and paper filing systems, assisting with inductions for new joiners, processing client monies and expenses, ordering stationery and supplies, keeping accurate records, and other ad hoc duties.

This role will occasionally be client-facing, and as you settle in you'll be able to take on larger projects and special tasks.

You'll have 2-3 years office based administration experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills, good Microsoft office skills, and the ability to deal with competing priorities. An ILEX secretarial qualification is desirable but not essential. 

Most importantly, you'll be proactive about what needs to be done to ensure the office runs smoothly, with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
