 HR generalist to join small, well regarded HR team within City based London market syndicate. You will get great end to end exposure and will be involved in:

Recruitment

Co-ordinate the smooth administration of recruitment requirements through the given method of selection e.g. agencies, press, direct

Filter appropriate candidates using the relevant Job Descriptions and distribute accordingly, booking interviews and rooms as appropriate

Draft offer letters and contracts of employment 

Issue new joiner correspondence 

Conduct interviews for junior level roles and/or as agreed with the HR Business Partner

 HR Administration

Maintain on-line cross-company HR records for all UK and European employees.

Administer & update HR System.

Produced HR metric reports when required.

Prepare summaries of contractual terms & redundancy calculations/liaising with the in -house lawyer regarding settlement agreements.

Provide timely HR information to payroll on a regular basis (new joiners, leavers, salary increases, RTW following maternity, professional education letters/monies).

Main coordinator for providing & updating data for the implementation of workday HR system for UK & Europe.

Performance Management:

Responsible for development and ongoing management of on line performance management system
Provide performance management training to all new joiners.

Remuneration & Reward:

Responsible for Towers Watson compensation survey database, exporting and updating data to aid the businesses complete salary and bonus reviews.

Responsible for the salary and bonus review process by updating and maintaining spreadsheets and preparing review letters.

Candidates should be degree educated and studying towards CIPD (sponsorship will be taken over). You should have min 18 months hands on HR generalist experience gained within Financial or professional services environment. Max notice should be 1 month. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to think on your feet and add value to this small, high performing team.
