An established firm based in Shoreditch are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator / Administration Assistant to start in May 2017 on a maternity cover. It's a lovely team and everyone sits in an open plan office together so you will be fully involved. This is a great opportunity for someone to apply their skill set but also learn so much more. You will be a pivotal part of the team and so your ability to think on your feet and use your initiative is essential. 

Duties include;

  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (email, post, deliveries)
  • Diary management of Directors / Contract Managers 
  • Order office stationery supplies 
  • Raise contractor purchase orders
  • Design tender responses and interview documents 
  • Process invoices 
  • Order couriers 
  • Maintain office cleanliness 
  • Adhoc administration duties 

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You will have the ability to work on your own and meet deadlines, manage pressure and prioritise tasks/workload. Great communication skills, a confident phone manner, reliability and honesty will be your strengths.

Essential: 

  • Excellent phone manner 
  • Highly organised 
  • Great knowledge of MS Office 

The client would like someone to start in May to give a 4 week thorough handover with the lady in the role at the moment. This would be a great opportunity for someone who has a great personality and wants to gain some solid experience.
