Our client a renowned arts centre based in the West End requires an HR Assistant to provide comprehensive HR Administration and support to the HR team. This is a one month temp role with the possibility of being extended and is to start ASAP. You need to be immediately available!

The main duties are:

  • Co-ordinate and support the recruitment process
  • Working with the HR Business Partners to develop recruitment campaigns
  • Act as key contact for recruitment partners including advertising and recruitment agencies and negotiating all terms of business
  • Handling all incoming recruitment enquiries, applications and correspondence, advertising jobs, logging applications, preparing interview packs, booking rooms, assessments and calling candidates for interview
  • Ensuring all follow up from recruitment takes place
  • Ensure management information reporting on recruitment campaigns is kept up-to-date
  • To work with HR colleagues to organise Company's attendance at job fairs and other employment-related events
  • Attend and support at recruitment events
  • Support delivery of in-house learning and development courses and programmes
  • Assist with administration of the e-learning system
  • Ensure detailed and accurate records of learning and development are kept on the HR information system
  • Carry out financial administration relating to recruitment
  • Provide support across the HR team as required
  • Arrange internal and external meetings and booking venues where necessary
  • Minute HR meetings
  • Coordinate departmental meetings including booking meetings, minuting and following up on action points where necessary.

The successful candidate will have experience working in HR administration/assistant role with some involvement in recruitment work. You must have excellent coordination and administration skills, excellent attention to detail, a friendly and proactive manner, strong IT skills, experience of working with databases, outstanding communication skills, the ability to deal with sensitive issues in an appropriate and confident manner and be a team player with the ability to establish good working relationships.
