What does the role consist of?

This role is to assist the Professional recruitment team in meeting the apprenticeship recruitment needs of clients by assisting with the recruitment process.

The main purpose of the role is to:

 

Provide guidance in regards to advertising, job specifications and targeting the right audience

 

  • To advertise clients' apprenticeships vacancies via a range of media
  • To course candidates for existing apprenticeship vacancies via other methods such as career fairs and direct school liaison
  • Applicant sifting, checking the eligibility of candidates, reviewing CVs and discussing experience and career aspirations to make sure they meet the criteria
  • Telephone screening and conducting structured telephone interviews and reviewing
  • Working with clients to identify other recruitment needs and help source suitable candidates

 

What will the successful candidate be like?

We are looking for someone with excellent time-management and organisation skills. You need to have the ability to work to a high standard and able to build strong relationships with people. Previous customer service or recruitment experience would be desirable.

You will be given full training in this role but we are looking for hardworking, driven and enthusiastic individuals who would like to help make a difference to young people.
