Media PA to high profile figure

Unusual opportunity to support a high profile political figure. With a background in media, you will be used to working to daily deadlines, liaising with journalists and arranging high level meetings and interviews. With strong emotional intelligence and skill in developing relationships both within an organisation and outside, you will thrive in fast paced environments and enjoy the thrill of being at the centre of current affairs and breaking news. Working on high profile events will also form a large part of this role, and you will enjoy both the logistics, administration and buzz of seeing these through.

The role:

Organising high level meetings

Booking venues and restaurants

Responding to reader emails and managing the inbox

Managing the diary and booking transport

Contributing to the organisation of high profile event

Building relationships with the wider team

Assisting with research

The person:

Articulate, bright and bags of emotional intelligence

Well-read, with up to date knowledge of who’s who in British and global current affairs

A background in fast-paced media organisations and exposure to politics

Exceptional levels of written communication

Senior level PA experience
