  • Understanding the users and the messaging that engages them
  • Leading all acquisition, negotiation, account management and retention of digital influencers that will represent the brand
  • Assisting with content creation and messaging to ensure it remains organic and true to the influencer, whilst remaining true to the brand
  • Drafting and pitching stories to media outlets and acting as a spokesperson where required
  • Being comfortable explaining functionality of the product to new users and being readily able to answer questions about the product and brand
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects as required

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Deep understanding of connecting with social audiences, evidenced by successful personal projects and commercial initiatives
  • A high level of written and spoken fluency in English, and in tune with Australian culture
  • Able to verbally communicate ideas with clarity, inspiration and passion to varied audiences
  • Well-developed written communication skills, demonstrated by a succinct and punchy style
  • Previous experience in a PR, communications or related role, ideally within a start-up
  • Strong creativity, alongside the ability to justify the rationale behind your ideas
