Event Operations Manager, Central London 2 Year FTC

Our client is looking for an Event Operations Manager to join their team and tale on responsibility for the day to day delivery and operational planning for their programmes of educational and professional development. Working with one of the Royal Colleges in London, this role will involve line management of a team of event coordinators.

The college is celebrating it's 25th anniversary and this role will be working alongside the head of education and events to deliver innovative, efficient programming.

 

Who will you be working for?

Based in Central London, you will be working with one of the most respected and recognised Royal Colleges in London. The company is steeped in history with its beginnings dating back to the 17th Century. Their modern office overlooks a stunning square set back from the busy main street, where you will find most office workers enjoying their lunch hour on the grass. What does the role consist of?

  • Oversee end to end event management process
  • People and relationship management
  • Responsible for the development and effective delivery of the education programme
  • Committee Secretariat support
  • Logistics, marketing and Budget Management
  • Ensure events are marketed to target audiences via all channels in a timely manner

 

What will the successful candidate be like?

  • Excellent standard of education to a degree level or equivalent
  • Management of a major project or programme of work
  • Experience in a similar enviroment or organisation
  • Experience line managing of people
  • Confident working with a servicing committee structure
  • Self-motivated, calm and and ability to work under pressure
  • Proven event logistics, operational work planning and administration skills
