Our client is an International trading business based in Central London, and are currently looking for business assistant to support senior managers in a team of business traders within the energy sector.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to develop a career in the commodities trading sector, with a clear career path, and opportunity to work with very experience individuals, and either progress to a senior support role, or trading position, either in a contract or permanent role.



JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

*Data entry into internal systems for payment related transactions and expense settlements
*Creating summary sheets of corporations and projects using MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word or Excel) by referring to websites and existing documents
*Reviewing and proof-reading English documentation
*Conducting desktop research for marketing purposes e.g. creating reports on market trends in certain business areas by incorporating data and information on websites
*All other administrative work to assist the Department staff such as copying documents, booking appointments, and conference rooms, reserving restaurants, hotels, and transport.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Skills / Knowledge:
*A professional, with a flexible approach who enjoys a demanding office environment and works well under pressure;
*Highly organized with strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize tasks within strict time frames
*Capable of using own initiative as well as work collaboratively in a team
*A good verbal and written communicator, able to analyze and communicate complex information effectively at all levels. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential Japanese language skills advantageous but not essential
*Displays good numerical and analytical skills.
*Strong IT skills, including using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
*Experience working in a related industry in an administrative position would be preferable.
*A good standard of secondary education, including Math's and English.
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
