Business Development Administrator Job based in St Albans
Established construction business seeking Hire Coordinator Administrator with business development & strong administration skills to join their team
Job title: Hire Coordinator

£24,000 plus comms
Your new role
- As a Hire Coordinator you will promote the company's hire business to new and existing customers, providing commercial and administrative support to the North London catchment and St Albans office, in order to achieve order levels at agreed margins.
- Duties include:
- Carry out structured business development, including cold calling within the area designated, in order to achieve order targets
- Respond to customer enquires in order to generate orders
- Up-sell through promoting the full range of building services
- Promote and achieve commercial visit targets to be undertaken by the Hire and Service Centre Manager
- Achieve hire orders and other KPI targets
- Prepare quotations and drawings against customer requirements
- Complete customer care programme to ensure customer satisfaction
- Liaising with service manager with regard to refurbishment, fitting out, deliveries and terminations
- Provide statistical information on a weekly/monthly basis
What you'll need to succeed
- The following skills and qualifications are essential for this position:
- Strong administrative experience gained in a sales/customer service environment.
- Experience of B2B Business Development and pro-active commercial skills
- Good level of numeracy/literacy.
- IT literacy - competent user of Microsoft Office programs.
- Desirable but not essential:
- 5 GCSE's Grades A-C, including Maths and English or equivalent.
- Sales administration experience.
- Knowledge of SAP system.
- Full UK driving licence
What you'll get in return:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:45 ( 1 hour for lunch) 36.25 hours
The salary for this position is in the range of £21,000 - £25,000 dependent on skills and experience.
A wide range of other benefits covering health and wellbeing, discounted cycles and shopping vouchers. Full time employees can also buy up to 5 days holiday to complement the basic entitlement of 24 days (part-time pro-rated).
