Banking and Financial Services Firm
HR Generalist
12 month fixed term contract
£40,000-50,000 per annum
Bank
Hours 9am - 5pm (flexibility is expected if needed)
Role:
Experience of recruitment and payroll, both will play a huge part
Covering in the absence of the HR Manager (on maternity leave)
Support the more junior members of the HR team
Recruitment and induction
Performance management
Learning and development
Employee Engagement
Leadership development
Talent and succession management
Workforce planning and resourcing models
Change management
Reward and recognition
Employment relations
The successful candidate will have:
5-10 years experience working in an HR role, ideally within Financial or Professional Services sectors
Calm, organised, methodical and professional approach and attitude to work
Strong commercial acumen with significant experience managing business change and complexity.
Track record of building and managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Demonstrated track record of developing and delivering best practice solutions to meet business needs - this would be in the area of Talent Resourcing, Reward, Employee Relations or HR Process Improvement.
Project Management skills and intermediate Microsoft Office.
Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline and broad, up to date subject matter knowledge especially in relation to current UK employment law.
