My client is seeking a full-time PA/Medical Secretary to help manage their growing private practice.

They are a Consultant Psychiatrist with a specialism in Women's Health. They are looking for an eloquent, polished individual that can thrive in a highly demanding role in order to reap the rewarding benefits that come from working with a leading Psychiatrist. The perfect candidate will be someone who is an excellent communicator, extremely proactive, emotionally resilient and is able to work well independently.

This position will be based in Roehampton 2-3 days per week with a possibility of working from home on the other days, however this has not been confirmed as of yet. Otherwise the position may be based in the West End of London on the other days.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*Outpatient and Inpatient Diary Management
*Managing clinic schedules
*Responding efficiently to enquiries via phone and email, scheduling appointments and managing prescription requests
*Maintain good relationships with key referrers and their secretarial staff
*Ensuring all letters are sent promptly
*Manage correspondence (incoming an outgoing) letters to GP and other appropriate professionals
*Ensuring report requests are managed in a timely fashion
*Handling email correspondence and prioritising urgent tasks for the Consultant
*Maintaining a paperless outpatient File System
*Uploading of notes as necessary to Priory internal systems
*Outpatient and Inpatient billing
*Effectively dealing with client recalls and reminder letters
*Ensuring all book keeping is up to date
*Travel Management - ensuring that the client's time is managed effectively between the practices

The client is looking for someone who is extremely forward thinking and has previous experience in a similar role. This role is more than just a personal assistant as you will be vital to the smooth running of their entire business and the right candidate will have a full understanding of this. They will not be intimidated by the work load that is involved or by the fact that often they will have to work outside of their job description and outside of normal 9-5 working hours. Finally, in order to be successful in this role you will need to be a flexible individual, who can adapt their approach to many different stakeholders and their way of working.
