THE COMPANY:
A corporate Insurance organisation are seeking an experienced Receptionist to be the face of their business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a loyal and committed professional to join a down to earth and inclusive team and provide a efficient Front of House service as well as supporting the team with administration.


THE ROLE:
  • Reception
    • To ensure a professional and efficient service to all staff and external guests
    • Manage office and meeting room bookings ensuring that refreshments are provided for meetings as required
    • To be the face of the company, meeting and greeting all clients and visitors in a professional and efficient manner
    • Overall responsibility for the presentation and smooth running of Reception
    • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
    • Answer telephone calls in  a timely and professional manner, directing calls appropriately and taking accurate and complete messages
  • Office Support
    • Ensure that the reception,  Broker Lounge  and meeting rooms are kept tidy throughout the day
    • Ensure adequate supplies of  tea, coffee and refreshments supplies are available and stored away
    • Monitor, mange and control stationery supplies
    • Provide support, as required, in the planning, organising and execution of marketing and social events.
    • Collate and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and organise courier pick ups and deliveries
    • Provide adhoc administration support to the Senior Management team including making travel arrangements, arranging meetings etc.
  • PA
    • Support the PA to the Executive Chairman, Directors and Facilities Supervisor in adhoc tasks as required
    • Cover the PA to the Executive Chairman when absent from the office

THE PERSON:
  • Proven experience gained within a corporate and professional organisation
  • Relevant experience in a well established finance organisation is desired
  • Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in producing accurate work
  • Able to use initiative and assist other departments where necessary
  • Reliable, punctual and consistent
  • IT literacy including strong skills in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Desire to learn and take on new responsibilities
