An excellent opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join this busy team in providing a welcoming first point of contact for their patients at their Docklands Clinic.

Essentially the post holder will provided standard receptionist duties for all the patients in terms of answering the phone, emails and meeting and greeting, and be responsible for the management of the general clinic environment.

The suitable candidate will have a passion for maintaining high standards at the Clinic and be responsible for:

  • Opening and closing premises.
  • Meeting and greeting patients and visitors, routing of patients on arrival
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls and dealing with telephone and online enquiries
  • Managing appointment booking and practitioner diaries
  • Registering of patients, and data entry of patient information
  • Handling point of contact payment (invoicing and receipting)
  • Processing all insurance company invoicing
  • Collect outstanding patient debts
  • Management of the waiting room and general clinic environment
  • Managing incoming deliveries
  • Leaving reception area tidy and ready for incoming colleague, together with information regarding unresolved or urgent problems.
  • Attend staff meetings and company events as required
  • Engage in the monthly review process with the Practice Manager
  • Any other duties which may be required

Hours: Monday to Friday = 40 hours per week. Rota based from 06.45 - 20.15 with 1 hour lunch.
Some unsociable hours and weekend working may be required
Salary: £22,000.00 (rising to £22,500 upon successful completion of probation period)
