THE COMPANY
Our client, based in the heart of the City, is the parent company of specialist insurance businesses with operations in Europe, the US, Asia and Australia. They currently require an experienced Hospitality Assistant to help ensure all client receive an excellent experience whilst in their corporate London office.
THE ROLE:
- Ensure the Reception desk is manned at all times and the coffee machine is cleaned daily
- Assist with the meet and greet of clients and visitors
- Responsible for delivery of office refreshments for all meeting rooms
- Provide assistance with the collection of catering orders and requirements for all in house dining
- Assist in managing temporary waiting staff and hospitality staff in their training and role
- Maintain all kitchen areas and stationery rooms
- Assist in ordering of all kitchen supplies and their storage
- Stock management and management of crockery, cutlery and glasses
- Assist in ensuring all kitchen areas abide by the Health and Safety regulations with regard to the handling of food and drink
- Assist the chef as and when necessary for client lunches
- Clearance of all meeting rooms and other meeting areas
- Assist in ensuring the cleaning contractors perform their roles to highest standards in accordance with the contract Assist in sorting and delivering of post/mail
- Holds a Food Hygiene Qualification
- Experience of hospitality and general housekeeping, preferably in an office environment
- Able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing
- Team player as well as able to work on own initiative
- The ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
- Good standard of basic computer skills
- Self-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic
- Professional approach to successfully interact with managers/colleagues/external suppliers
- Concern for quality
