Fast growing international law firm with a strong global presence and a reputation for providing an excellent service to an impressive list of domestic and international clients is looking to hire a new IT Trainer to join the Technology Training Department which strives to take a proactive approach to meeting the needs of all IT users across the firm, with a commitment to customer service excellence and introducing new technology that assists and benefits the day-to-day work carried out by the firm plus the department encourages a culture of continuous improvement, where a collaborative environment ensures that new ideas are welcomed.  In this role you will be part of a dynamic and hardworking IT Training Team, consisting of an IT Team Leader and a fellow IT Trainer based out of another international office to offer more global office hours coverage for IT Training - you will be responsible for designing and delivering a variety of engaging eLearning modules, classroom courses, and training materials to all levels of the firm across EMEA.  As part of your role, you will be expected to take a proactive approach to identifying where IT training, new technology and eLearning can assist staff of all levels in completing their work more efficiently as well as running regular tailored Excel, DocX tools and other MS Office application training sessions - you will deliver IT classroom induction training, ensuring that all new joiners have the necessary skills and knowledge to hit the ground running and immediately add value in their new role.  The IT Training Team, is looking to increase the amount of training that is delivered via eLearning in order to meet the increasing global need.  This is an exciting time to join, when your ideas will have the most impact. Responsibilities will include providing IT Induction training for all new joiners in order to provide a solid understanding of all core applications.  Work closely with local HR to ensure that the course remains up-to-date, relevant and is delivered consistently across global offices, designing and delivering IT training courses to educate users on new software systems and upgrades, as well as improving skills on existing software, delivering IT Training to international offices, either in person or by using Remote Desktop screen takeover (VNC), WebEx, or Zoom, providing an innovative and flexible approach to learning, using a variety of services including, formal classroom sessions, drop-in workshops, one-to-one at desk training, email support, Live OnLine Learning and eLearning, developing and designing training materials, including training scripts, course outlines, practice exercises, instructional sheets, quick reference cards and business process mapping, in line with in-house standards and increasing the level of technical knowledge within the firm by training and coaching staff to pass IT qualifications such as MOS in order to increase productivity and minimise the reliance on the IT Service Desk.  Applicants require a minimum of two years' commercial IT training and Instructional Design experience, preferably within a professional services environment, have advanced knowledge and experience in training all core Microsoft Office 2007/2013 products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint- MOS qualified and a good understanding of FileSite, Time recording systems (DTE Axiom), Elite 3E, Digital dictation (BigHand), Workshare (compare), Third party numbering suite (DocX Tools), InterAction, Adobe DC, Remote Access (VPN, RSA, Citrix, Blackberry), Mobile technologies (GOOD), Remote desktop screen takeover (VNC) and MS Project 2007, MS Visio experience would be desirable.  Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm with offices based in the City.
