Temporary Events Administrator £13ph

Who will you be working for?

Working for a great professional body dedicated to improving the practice of medicine, this is a chance to get involved in an interesting and complex part of the organisation.

 

What does the job consist of?

  • Provide support to the Events team
  • Undertake data mining, mail merges and mass email communications as required
  • Undertake engaging stewardship phone calls to event participants
  • Handling RSVPs to conferences and other events
  • Assist in any administrative tasks of the event, such as creating name badges and helping with information packs
  • Keeping databases up to date with client and conference information
  • Produce all administrative paperwork for the events.
  • Invoice all delegates.

What will the successful candidate be like?

  • Excellent attention to detail, and organisation skills, with the ability to manage a diverse workload
  • A confident and friendly phone manner with an ability to empathise with supporters
  • Experience of working with databases with efficient and accurate data entry skills
  • Good knowledge and experience of Word and Excel
  • Ability to work under your own initiative
  • Excellent communicator, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Experience supporting a busy team, with the ability to multitask sometimes at short notice
