Office Assistant/ PA


Your new company:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator to join a thriving and award-winning restructuring and recovery practice based in London. My client is looking for a committed and flexible individual who enjoys and flourishes on challenges, with an excellent work ethic and attitude, who can deliver on tasks in a timely manner and who is willing to go the extra mile.

Your new role:
Your role will be assisting the Office Manager and duties will include PA duties to two CEO's. On a typical day, you will be required to:

  • Screen and relay calls and email phone messages.
  • Conduct mail-outs and complete certificates of postage as required (training provided).
  • Conduct Companies House searches as required (training provided).
  • Maintain spreadsheets and do bonding filing.
  • Monitor partners' in-trays for daily signing & relay accordingly.
  • Load all photocopiers and other office equipment with paper/ink toner etc.
  • Monitor stationery and office supplies (tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets etc.) levels and order accordingly.
  • Arrange and maintain meeting rooms.
  • Typing and filing as required.
  • Book hotels/venues for events, lunches, meetings etc. and book couriers as required.
  • Make travel arrangements.
  • Bank cheques as required and go to post office if required
  • Take docs to court as required
  • Maintain cake day schedule and replenish tuck shop.
  • Meet and greet guests.


What you'll need to succeed:

  • It is ESSENTIAL you have previous experience in Administration.
  • Have experience working within a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • Literate and numerate with ability to show initiative and a pro-active attitude
  • Good organisational skills, with first-rate communication and interpersonal skills
  • Methodical approach particularly to undertaking and delivering on day to day admin tasks, and to deadlines
  • High attention to details/meticulous, focused, driven and thorough
  • Punctual, enthusiastic, determined, resourceful, flexible, willing team player
