International Administrator, £22.5k, 12 months FTC, London

A historic and well-recognised organisation specialising in the health and medical sector is looking for an outstanding International Administrator to join one of their specialist departments. This is a chance to get involved in an interesting and complex part of the organisation, dealing with specific national and worldwide projects.

Who will you be working for?

A reputable medical college focussing on training, research, quality and advice for its vast member base in the health sector. They are an academic institution with a passion for increasing the standards of healthcare provision in the U.K.

Located north of Oxford Circus, you'll be working in one of the most exquisite parts of central London where there are beautiful parks to enjoy on your lunch break and plenty of eateries to spoil yourself with!

 

What does the role consist of?

The purpose of the post is to coordinate the running of the International Office, including PA support to the International Director and Director of UK and International Engagement. You will be coordinating activities for the department monitoring the project helpdesk, and managing the arrangement and minute taking of a number of key international meetings.

  • Organisation international meetings and visits, including itineraries, visa budgets, flights and local travel, liaising with venues for events overseas, insurance expenses
  • Act as the central point of contact in the International Office by dealing with internal and external queries
  • Organising international committee and international executive meetings, produce minutes/meeting reports
  • Arrange visits by international delegations and visitors, managing schedules and programmes
  • Process general forms and requests
  • Manage the RCP wide international calendar

 

What will the successful candidate be like?

  • degree educated or equivalent
  • experience of organising meetings/workshops including minute taking
  • admin experience
  • good IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • has experience or interest working in international affairs or healthcare context
