General Office Assistant - Central London for a medium sized law firm. Looking for someone to join an existing team of shift workers - £20,000
The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills and combines day-to-day hands-on duties with ad hoc firm wide tasks. The Facilities department boasts a cohesive, friendly ethos where flexibility and team working is essential.
***Please do not apply if you do not have some office based experience that is relevant to this role.
Initially the hours will be 8:30 - 17:30 then will move into core hours of 11:00am - 8:00pm
JOB SPECIFICATION
*Post room duties
*Booking couriers and taking deliveries
*Replenishing stock in the kitchens on the floors
*Setting up rooms for meetings
*Setting up workstations
*Basic general building maintenance and waste management
*Answering the phone and dealing with enquiries
*Operating security system and issuing of cards
*Ordering in and distributing food for clients and staff
*Assisting Archives, as required
*Ad hoc duties
Team fit wise the right candidate will be professional and courteous when dealing with clients, potential clients, Partners, staff and contractors. Self-motivated, detail-oriented and highly organised.
