Wild Berry Associates are currently recruiting for a switched on junior Account Manager to support senior colleagues and manage their own portfolio of clients. The role is working for a Global consultancy firm based within the heart of the West End.

You will need to be passionate about building relationships with clients and getting to know their organisation. You will need to help develop client relationships by working alongside them, around their own challenges, delivering great customer service and introducing them to timely solutions. You will need to be target driven and energised by driving revenue growth from your client base. This role would be perfect for an enthusiastic junior sales professional that wants to join a leading HR firm and start to build an exciting career in this field.

The job:

The Account Manager role is about managing and building client relationships to deliver profitable renewal and yield business across your account portfolio. The Account Manager focuses on understanding the client and their challenges, identifying opportunities and then using their knowledge of our products and services to find appropriate solutions. Therefore, following some focused coaching and development, we're keen for the Account Manager to be able to confidently and consultatively introduce them to more of what we do - right around the talent management cycle from attraction to leadership development.

Primary accountabilities include:

  • Account planning: Responsible for end to end account planning including research, documentation, and internal coordination across the group to ensure that each account has a clear and actionable plan that best meets the client's needs. You'll also be given some flexibility to identify ways to engage with your portfolio - for example devising and managing the delivery of client events or other focused marketing initiatives.
  • Maintaining renewal business and growing yield business: Maintains and grows revenue streams from assigned client accounts by developing and maintaining multiple relationships (including line managers, HR managers, reward specialists and L&D professionals).
  • Coordinating delivery of products and services: You will need to support other colleagues (such as the Account Service & Delivery team) and senior stakeholders (such as the Client Relationship Director) in the scoping and delivery of client projects. You'll ensure that clients receive products and services to agreed standards of quality and on time by effectively managing and monitoring the process.
  • Working with other sales professionals in the team: We would like the successful candidate to work with more experienced colleagues, support them with preparing for meetings, writing proposals, building contact lists, following up on leads, formulating proposals, closing sales, and scoping the delivery of work.
