An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly organised, business savvy PA to join an international Retail firm based in Paddington supporting two Directors with Global Supply Chain.  You will provide full 1:1 PA support initially for 6 months taking on an additional Director in 6 months time to expand your role.

Key duties:

  • Extensive diary management.
  • Coordinating international travel arrangements.
  • Processing expenses.
  • Taking minutes and distributing action points.
  • Liaising with international stakeholders and investor.
  • Ad hoc support to the Senior Leadership Team / Heads of Department as required.
  • Composing high level Board correspondence and ensuring that information is presented to the Directors in a prioritised and timely manner with relevant context and detail.
  • Assisting the Recruitment team with hiring new team members along with on boarding and induction.
  • Organisation of the team days – quarterly/annually as required.

Ideal candidate:

  • Extensive international / Plc based Retail/FMCG/Supply chain/Logistics company experience
  • Proactive, assertive, organised, discreet, able to work to deadlines and support at a very senior/Board level
  • Be a true gate keeper, right hand support, able to protect the diary time
  • Confident enough to attend Board meetings, minute but also present data and information and re-organise to demonstrate trends
  • Confident presenting high level information in Power Point presentations
  • Excellent grammar and communication skills – French or any other European language advantageous but not essential
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good relationship builder, team player, happy to muck in – genuinely friendly and helpful – pre-empt needs, act as a sounding board to the Directors, business smart and savvy, someone keen to understand how the business works and can add value and think outside the box
  • Used to a fast paced culture and flexible enough to deal with ambiguity, deal with strong personalities

This is a busy and challenging role so you will need to thrive when working in a fast past environment.  Paying up to £45,000 depending on experience, this is a superb opportunity to join a growing international company where you can develop your skills!
