This outstanding opportunity as EA / Office Manager acts as Ambassador, Assistant to the CEO and Founder as well as Office Manager with HR responsibilities.  It is a very full and multi-faceted role with no two days the same requiring an agile mind, adaptable approach and a naturally proactive and hands-on nature.

Previous experience within a small, entrepreneurial company would be ideal and someone used to a structured, corporate working environment may struggle to adapt to the collaborative and open environment.

Ideal start date: Monday 24th April for a week’s handover.

This entrepreneurial technology company can offer you:

  • Attractive salary between £37,000 and £42,000 + bens
  • Hours: 8.30am – 6pm, Monday to Friday

To be successful in this EA / Office Manager role, you will have:

  • Secretarial / PA / EA / Office Manager experience gained within a small entrepreneurial environment
  • Interest in technology and social media
  • IT literacy and good Ms Office skills
  • Adaptable and hands-on approach
  • Exceptional client focus and communication talents, both spoken and written
  • Dynamic, self-motivated and confident personality
  • Well-developed networking skills
  • Willingness to work hard in order to achieve outstanding results
  • Willingness to start on 24th April

 

 

Key accountabilities within this EA / Office Manager role include:

  • Answering calls and acting as gatekeeper
  • Handling emails
  • Managing diaries
  • Maintaining contact lists
  • Managing filing
  • Organising travel including detailed itineraries, car hire, visas etc
  • Personal work including handling household bills, cars etc
  • Managing UK bank accounts
  • Managing company credit cards
  • Office management including ordering stationery, handling office maintenance, dealing with Health & Safety, insurance etc
  • Maintain HR records
  • Managing HR contracts
  • Handling induction process for new starters
  • Managing expenses
  • Managing payroll
  • Organising office events
