Providing true right hand support this role will see you fully utilising your exceptional organisational and PA skills. THE ROLE:
- Team efficiency - Ensure the smooth running of the team, ensuring that at all times they are in possession of all necessary papers & information for meetings. Generate and introduce process that streamlines desk efficiency and takes administration away from deal doers. This includes WIP management, CRM & origination activities, etc.
- Diary and schedule management - Co-ordinate the origination events of the team including organising meetings, lunches, dinners and events for the team and clients. Includes managing all UK & Global travel and hotel accommodation with an eye on costs and preparation of expense claims. Keep track of all invoices received and own the process for sign off.
- Marketing, Events & Conferences - Work closely with team heads, marketing and events teams to deliver extraordinary and cost effective client experiences. Marketing includes thought leadership, deal notifications etc. Events include Investec Derby, Chelsea Flower Show, Sporting Events, Client Roadshows and team offsites.
- Responsibilities
- Work very closely with wider Corporate Lending business and in collaboration with other team assistants to maximise group wide initiatives but also to ensure no gaps in service e.g. holiday resourcing etc.
- At all times show discretion in dealing with both confidential and price sensitive information
- Act at all times in a professional manner, particularly when dealing with external clients.
- Build contact relationships with external clients and other professional bodies.
- As required - preparation of presentations and documents for meetings
THE PERSON:
- Action and outcome orientated with a high level of initiative.
- Wants & takes a high level of ownership for tasks/projects & enjoys being highly involved in activities and delivering above expectation;
- Thrives in an environment with minimum supervision;
- Pro-active, collaborative team player, outgoing and enthusiastic;
- High levels of judgement (around prioritisation in particular) and the ability to work under pressure across multiple work streams;
- Flexible in approach, able to multi task with both a ‘can do’ and ‘will do’ attitude;
- Highly communicative with a strong instinct to engage with people to deliver results (rather than assume all is ok).
