IT Manager at Leading US Law Firm, to £80,000

Prestigious US law firm is looking to recruit a new IT Manager to manage the London IT function across all aspects.  Duties will include to manage the team and resources responsible for all IT support services by looking after performance and setting goals, ensuring the team’s continuous professional development and provide opportunities for team members to demonstrate and build skills; you will serve as a customer service advocate and technology consultant by providing support, feedback and recommendations to enhance processes and internal customer experiences; manage the local implementation of Firmwide IT projects, initiatives and related deployments plus promote effective use and training of the Firm’s software. You will be coordinate with other global IT teams (network, support center and telecom) on timely escalation and closure of user support hardware and software issues and coordinate with the IT Network Operations and Telecommunication departments to monitor the performance of and perform routine maintenance on network infrastructure, servers, and telecommunication and audio/visual equipment. They are looking for someone who has personal effectiveness,  management and professional excellence and be result focused.  They are ideally looking for someone that can really promote the IT team, offer a real customer service with integrity and gravitas and who can inspire the IT function.  Applicants must have previous legal IT experience and ideally have managed before in a permanent capacity or in an interim or FTC level. Being degree educated or having relevant IT qualifications is a must.
