We have a fantastic opportunity to work for a prestigious London magazine. We are looking for an extremely hard-working, proactive and dynamic Office Manager supporting an energetic team of 100 employees. 

The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, excellent time management, be super organised and be extremely focused. Additionally, you will be confident, IT savvy, on the ball and not afraid of a challenge.

Main duties within the role include:

  • Primary point of contact for all matters relating to the smooth running of offices (3)
  • Manage and maintain the condition of the office, including tidiness, cleanliness and arranging for necessary repairs
  • Organise the office layout and maintain supplies for kitchen/bathrooms, stationery and equipment
  • Business travel management and booking for the whole business
  • Arrange and oversee desk moves, new starters and leavers
  • Record office expenses, purchase orders and manage budgets
  • Respond to customer enquiries and complaints
  • Manage and maintain a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and HR databases
  • Assist the HR Manager on recruitment and absences
  • Staff induction packs and tours
  • Manage filing systems and develop and implement new administrative systems, such as record management
  • Organise training and induction for new employees
  • Manage administration assistants and ensure effective cover for absence and peaks in workload
  • Review and update First Aid & Health and Safety policies and ensuring they are observed
  • Tend to the wellbeing of the MD/Leadership team providing assistance in relation to travel, personal purchases, payments and expenses
  • Produce ad hoc reports and undertake one-off tasks and special projects as and when required
  • Cover Admin staff when they are absent

This is an extremely full on role so you will need relevant experience and have amazing communication skills and additionally not be afraid of hard work.
